"Sofie.." He complained, placing the little girl back in her seat. She smiled, standing up and leaning across the table. Her elbows rested on the table while she wobled her head back and forth in her hands. "Sofia, c'mon. You said we could do what I wanted to do first." Archie poked her nose playfully as she stood back up.
"Yeah, but I didn't know it would be this boring." She stuck her tounge out and sat back in her seat, crossing her arms in frustration.
"Alright, fine. Read one more book and we can go?" He asked, looking back to the opened text book in front of him.
Sofia groaned in complant, pushing the books in front of her away. "Alright, alright.." Archie sighed playfully as his hand dug into his pocket, pulling out his phone. She took it happily, her hands already working across the screen to find the drawing pad app. Archie just shook his head and returned to reading over his text book.

Connor coughed, working his jaw as he slipped into the library, rubbing at his bruised jaw. He had got into a rather nasty fiat fight today. He had needed it though. "F-fucking bastard," He muttered under his breath, didn't know why he was even in the library. It was a place he was least likely to be found in, though. He bumped some guy reading a text book, growled. "Watch i-it."

Archie scratched his head, jumping as he was bumped. "I'm sitting down, I shouldn't have to watch where you're walking." He mumbled, flipping the page. A sigh passed over his lips as the lead in his pencil broke. He tossed it into the middle of the book, closed it shut and piled his notebook on top. "Are you ready?"
Sofia looked up and then over at the boy, "What about him?" Archie turned around, looking the boy over.

Connor eyed them warily, rubbed at his face, then his bleeding wrist. He sat down on the floor in the corner of the library, drew his knees up, dilated eyes looking around warily. Several of the school Jocks wandered in and he cursed, pulled his hood up and lowered his gaze.

"No, we're leaving." He answered, watching as she jumped down from her seat. Grabbing his books, he scooted back in the chair to get out. Sofia had already wondered halfway down the hall, slowly getting closer to the older boy. "Hi! I'm Sofia," She smiled, waving frantically as she stood a couple feet away. Archie was back at the table, mumbling to himself before he noticed she wasn't near the table anymore. He quickly turned around, sighing as he spotted her. "Sofie.. I don't think he wants to be bothered.." He called, walking down the hall after her.

Connor watched the Jocks passed, clearly looking for him. He glanced up at the girl, and despite his slightly drugged mental state, he was still there enough to be responsive. He forced a smile, biting at one of his snakebites. Children were one of the only people he was even remotely friendly with usually, or trusted. As was proved when he spotted the male approaching, working his jaw in discomfort, eyes growing cold again. Mainly because of his father, he feared men. But another part was what he was. He would never admit to hating himself so much, hating that he could not stay mentally sane without hate in his life.

Sofie smiled, looking at the metal thing in his lip. "What's that on your lip?" She turned, feeling the touch of Archie's hand on her shoulder. He looked at the boy warily, unsure of what to do. Shaking his head, he glanced at the front of the door, trying to see if anything was in his way.

Connor jutted his lip out some to show her the two metal rings. "L-like e-ear piercings," He murmured huskily, clearing his throat. He eyed the guy now, however, never straying, no trust there. The Jocks spotted him however and he struggled to his feet. It was always difficult to get up because his sickness and being so thin. Because of nerve damage from the drugs. He moved for the door, but the jaw followed him out, dragging him back by the collar and slamming him against the outer wall. He clawed at the hands pressing to his throat, eyes glaring angrily.

"Cool," She said cheerfully, looking up as Archie patted her shoulder again. "I want one," She smiled, rubbing her hands together. He sighed, his upper lip rising as he looked down at her. "Maybe when you're older..." He smiled sheepishly, "or not." His eyes returning to the boy as he jumped up and scrambled to the door. Sofia screamed, and he quickly placed a hand over her mouth to make her hush. She took off quickly, Archie catching up slowly. "Stop it," She damanded, crossing her arms as she got outside.
Archie walked out the door, trying to seem calm. He stepped in front of her, telling her to back up. "Um, how about we just call it quits and everyone goes home?" He shrugged his shoulders, hands rising in a 'it happens' manner.

"How about not?" Someone sneered, yanked their knee up between Connor's legs. He gasped. "Ow! F-fuckers." He clutched at himself, ducking from a fist towards his face from one of the three boys, wincing as it stuck his thin shoulder. He shoved at them, punched a guy in the nose and tried getting away from the other two. He winced as they yanked his shirt up, scabbed back from clear beatings in view. "Daddy dearest fuck you over again, faggot?" They tugged at his jeans. "How's the tat?" "I'll f-fucking kill all you," He growled, gagged at a punch to the gut. Weak spot and they knee, laughed and let him go as he dropped to his knees, glaring after them in rage. On hands and knee, he coughed, spit blood onto the pavement.

Sofie winced, tugging on Archie's shirt as they began to hit the boy. "Archie, do something!" She cried, pushing him forward. He bit his lip nervously, his hands inching out of his pockets as he got a step closer. But as Connor flew forward, Archie jumped back. His eyes darting around as he tried to find someway to get out of it. He was no good at fighting, even if he was a werewolf. "That's enough.. C'mon guys, just leave him alone." He protested, pushing them back. Sofia squeezed passed them, wandering closely to the boy as she spotted the blood pool.

Connor watched them finally leave, all three of them laughing the entire time. He wiped at his lips with a trembling hand, watching the little girl approach. "I-it's okay.." He rasped softly, swallowing and grimacing at the taste. But he knew there was nothing any doctor could do. He shuddered, feeling sick, and gagged until he was dry heaving. But he hadn't eaten in days, and there was nothing to throw up.

Sofie tilted her head, gazing up as he stood. "You shouldn't let them do that." She looked toward Archie as he huffed. He scratched the back of his head, turning to look at them both. "That went well.." He smirked, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Can he come with us to get a treat?" She asked, looking back and forth between the two.
Archie looked Connor over, still un-easy about him. "If he wants to.. ask him," Sofia turned, tugging lightly at Connor's jeans. "Do you wanna?" She smiled at him, showing the gap of her missing front tooth.

Connor glared at the guy warily. But he supposed he could go, for the little girl's sake. And again, it was a safe zone. "Y-you want me to?" He coughed huskily, gazing down at her as he pushed his hair back, crossing his arms over his thin chest, breaths rasping softly as he waited.

"Yeah, let's go." She skipped cheerfully ahead, stopping on the corner not to far away. Archer laughed, shaking his head. "Don't go to far!" He called, and skipped back, meeting them halfway. He gazed at Connor, staying a couple feet away as they walked. Sofia, however, didn't mind. She walked along right beside him, spinning and twirling like she always did. "This is my brother Archie. What 'bout you?" She asked, playing with her pig tails.
