"Maybe 'cause you're part fish?" He lightly teased with a soft chuckle. He watched her disappear as she took the dress back, his eyes closed gently. Cameron could fill the couch sink as she took a seat. "It's slow, but you can get where you're going." His lips turned into a smile and he peeked over at her. His arms moved slowly, reaching around her waist and pulling her close once more.

She smiled, curling close to him. She ran her hand slowly over his chest, laying down beside him so her head was on his shoulder. She closed her eyes, wrapping her arm gently around him. "You're really comfortable.."

"Thanks," He chuckled, using one hand to brush the hair from her face. He leaned forward, kissing her forehead gently. "What are your plans for the day, ma'am?" His lips curled into a smile, and his eyes searched her face. He turned into his head to the side, letting out a quick yawn before looking back to Elaine.

"All i have to do today is cook dinner, and then I can go swimming." She said with a yawn, moving a little closer to him so she could turn over a bit, drawing one of her knees up at his side. "Why? Did you have something in mind?" She asked, looking up at him.

His head returned to resting on the back of the couch. His hand slowly ran up and down her arm. "No, I just wanted to see how much time I had left with you," Cameron smiled, poking her nose playfully before returning to around her waist. "I can come up with something if you want. I'll come up with something for the next time we're together, make plans for the entire day." He chuckled.

"To be quite honest, I'm content with just laying here with you." She said quietly, looking him over. She'd never thought she'd be content to just lay there with someone, but something about the boy was.. different. He meant more to her than he probably should.

"It is pretty peaceful just laying here," He moved his head slightly so he didn't have to strain to see Elaine. "I'm still going to plan something. I don't get to plan many things, and I'm actually pretty good at it when I put my mind to it." Cameron took her hand in his, and began to mess with her fingers. "And my mom was big on romance, so I know a few things or two." He teased, laughing lightly.

She watched him play with her fingers, smiling slightly. "I was never much on being completely swept off my feet. It all seemed so.. odd. I'd settle for someone who just wants me and a family. Which is probably why I don't read romance novels." She laughed, touching her fingers to his.

His shoulders moved in a small shrug. He didn't want to tell her that what she said made him just want to do it more. It wasn't that he thought he needed to, he just wanted to. A sweet smile crossed his face. "Okay, I'll try not to completely sweep you off your feet." He teased as he intertwined their fingers.

She smiled, leaning over to kiss his jaw before she laid her head back down on his shoulder. She closed her eyes, listening to him breathe. Just being around him was enough to make her insanely happy, and she didn't know why. She looked up as the clock chimed and groaned. "I have to go cook."

Cameron was as peaceful as he had ever been during the past four years, it was strange and he almost felt guilty. Even if he knew Adrienne shouldn't be what he focused on all day, every day. He inhaled deeply, gazing up at the clock as Elaine spoke. "Would you like any help?" He asked, leaning forward slightly. "Wait, I mean.. would you like me to leave. And if not, then would you like me to help?"

She chuckled, sitting up carefully. "No, I don't want you to leave. And you can help, if you'd like. Or you can go clean out the pool and we can go swimming later. Whichever." She got up carefully, leaning over to kiss his forehead before she walked into the kitchen. She looked in the pantry, chewing on her lip as she tried to decide what to make.

A grin showing his teeth worked it's way on to his face as she said she didn't want him to leave. His eyes followed her out the door before he actually made any move to get up. Cameron appeared in the kitchen a few minutes later, his eyes searched for her. "I'll go clean up the pool. Like I said, I'm not very good at cooking." He spoke softly as he found her. He gave her a quick smile before scampering off to clean the pool.

She chuckled, watching him go with a smile on her face. She finally decided to make some pork chops, and pulled them out of the fridge. She started grabbing everything to go with it, then pulled out a pot.
"You're spending an awful lot of time with that boy, child." Rosie told her, and she blushed a bit. "You're growing up too fast. I remember when they brought you home." She said with a smile, patting Lainee's head before she left the kitchen for Lainee to put the pork chops on.

Cameron found his way out to the pool, and took a look around. His back yard was bare except for a tree with a rope swing. He rolled his shoulders, and found the neat to clean the leaves out. He worked slowly around the pool, making sure he got each and every single leaf. Cameron hummed quietly to himself, always found it easier to work when he was alone.
