The second she realized that she was a ghost, Regina had panicked and fled Fulton. She did manage to hitch a ride to Chicago and laid low, pretending to be a rather meek girl named Irene Carters at Mt. Prospect High School. Now, 'Irene's' classmates were going into their Senior year, and then to graduation. Two things prompted Regina to flee Chicago: 1) Her classmates were horrible and 2) She couldn't go through her senior year looking exactly the same. It would arouse suspicion, and the new Regina was an extremely cautious person.
She quietly slipped out of the house she was renting and managed to get a flight to Boise, where she would lay low again, this time as Regina George. Her flight leaves in about 2 hours, so it looked like Regina would be spending her time milling around the gift shops around the gates. She munched on her Big Mac as she sat on her overturned suitcase, silently thinking about her life, or as of now, afterlife.
Regina Irene McAlister went from a very alive daredevil party animal to a deceased meek, cautious girl hopping from school to school. All in one year.
