"Let me go! You're all a bunch of fucking home wreckers! You wouldn't know right if it came up and bit you!" He screamed as they hauled him into an empty room. He pounded on the door, but being so small, he couldn't do much of anything. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to be with Derek. When the next woman to check on him came in, he ducked out the door, and darted down the hall, slipping out of another open door. He started running down the sidewalk until he came to the woods, praying they wouldn't find him before he could find Derek.

Derek drove silently, hands clenched on the wheel, the screaming in his head making him numb to everything else. He parked that car when he reached a little ways from where he was going, pulling the little girl into his arms and starting to walk, keepong the woods on one side and the road on the other. He didn't make it far before the voices were enough to have him falling to his knees.

Ace walked slowly, keeping the road in sight. He ran towards Derek when he spotted him, dropping to his knees beside him. "Derek.." He kissed the top of his head, wrapping his arms around him. "I've never been so happy to see you.." He started crying again, reaching down to brush Celeste's long locks from her face. "See? Ace is here now."

Derek groaned, the rwd fading in and out of his eyes as he looked up, cheeks damp. "I told you I'd...come get you...." He slurred softly, gagging.
He hugged the boy close. "We have to go.. Everything's.. In the truck...
Before they call the cops."

Ace nodded, gently taking Celeste from him. The girl was nearly as big as he was, but he carried her to the truck anyways. He put the quiet child inside, then climbed in after her. He worried about getting her buckled in and situated before he buckled in himself. "I'm sorry I got us into this.." He said quietly, looking down at the floors in shame.

Derek stumbled after them, drawing in slow breaths, trying to ignore the mental banter. He climbed in and pulled on his belt. "It's not your fault, Ace..." He insisted, pulling out, knuckles white as he gripped the wheel, eyes bright again. "Shut up.." He muttered to himself.

"It really is. If I hadn't told you to sleep with me, we wouldn't be in this mess." He mumbled. He looked over at Derek, growing concerned. "Do you want me to drive? I kind of don't want to die or anything.." He said quietly, looking him over slowly. He'd known the voices were bad. And they only seemed to get worse.

'Maybe if you wouldn't be such a whore, he wouldn't be in trouble. You always bring people down with you. You know you liked it when all those people were fucking you, Aerin. Don't deny it.' Hades mocked in his head, a smirk to his voice. 'You're nothing but a worthless sex addict. With a kid you don't even need.'

"No it's okay.." Derek whispered, barely hearing his own words.
'Fool, sleeping with a minor.'
"I wanted to be with you, too Ace..."
'Idiot! What would your parents think?'
'Don't bring them up.'
'Rude.'
'He deserve it, he killed them.'
Derek trembled, muscles tightening as he gritted histeeth to refrain from screaming, vision splotching. He slowed down some, trying to focus.

Derek was starting to scare Ace the way he was driving. Ace unbuckled his seatbelt, then Celeste's, moving her to his seat as he slid over. He carefully climbed into his lap, holding onto the wheel as he stopped the car and put it in park. "You're gonna kill us, Derek." He mumbled as he climbed back into his seat.

Derek allowed Ace to stop the car, bringing his hands slowly to his head as he curled forward with a trembling breath.
He shook, fingers fisting in his hair as Hades joined in the taunting. Derek's eyes flashed red again and he arched, screaming, hands over his ears as if it might help. Never had it been this bad. At least not for a long time.

Never had Ace seen him so bad off. He was usually happy and smiling, not screaming in agony. Celeste sniffled, then started to cry. He pulled the little girl into his lap, running his fingers through her hair. "Shh.. He didn't mean to scare you." He said quietly, kissing her cheek gently. He leaned over to Derek, slowly trailing kisses over his jaw in hopes he'd snap out of it.

Derek grabbed at the seat, swallowing as he drew in a breath. Teeth bared, going dizzy with the turmoil within his own head, and he grabbed at the door after the kiss over his jaw, pushing it open as he got sick on the side of the road, nearly falling out of his seat had he not been buckled in.

Ace sighed, drawing his knees up. He hugged the little girl close, tears falling down his cheeks. He hated knowing there was nothing he could do. He gently rocked her back and forth, running his fingers through her hair. "We're okay.. We'll be okay.. Don't cry, okay?" He breathed, running his hand over her small back.

Derek groaned, closing the door again and pressing his face to the window. After awhile the last of the voices finally faded, leaving him with nothong but a headache. He reached out and drew Ace close, taking one of Celeste's hands as well.

Ace leaned against him, looking down at the little girl in his arms. She pulled Derek's hand closer, holding tightly to his fingers. "I guess she likes you.." He said quietly. He'd never feel like dad to her. Or anyone. He was just a kid raising a kid he'd been forced to make. It didn't mean he didn't love her. It just meant he couldn't see himself being a father to her.
