"You must not have seen a bunch of fish then." She teased, looking over at him. She squeezed his hand gently, reaching over with her free hand to run her fingers through his hair. She thought she could really get used to this, having someone treat her so nicely. "You're going to spoil me." She said quietly.

He laughed, closing his eyes gently as her hand ran through his hair. "What's wrong with that?" He questioned, a faint smirk growing on his lips. Cameron could fall asleep if he had a blanket. "Everyone deserves to be spoiled every now and then," He spoke quietly, squeezing her hand.

She shrugged. She didn't feel like ruining the moment by saying spoiling would get her attached and only leave her heartbroken eventually. She didn't believe in forever. Something was bound to happen. She played quietly with his hair, looking him over. "You should probably be getting home.." She said quietly.

Cameron sat up, looking back at her. "If you want me to, I can. I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome." He sighed. It's not like he had anywhere else to be or anyone else to spend time with. And he liked being around Elaine. She was easy to talk to, and her family was fun to be around.

"It's not that I want you to leave. It's that it's getting late. Unless you want to ask my mom to stay." She said quietly, gently rubbing his chest before she sat up carefully. She looked him over, honestly thinking she could fall for him if he got any more perfect.

Cameron smiled softly as he scooted toward her. "I could ask," He offered, standing up. He walked over to his clothes and slipped into his pants before pulling his shirt over his head. "Unless you're tired." He made his way back over to Elaine.

She smiled over at him, carefully pulling herself to her feet. "I'm not tired." She said quietly, honestly amazed at how good he looked in the moonlight. She reached over, gently touching his chest as she leaned up to kiss his cheek softly. Then she started up the yard to the house, opening the door quietly in case Rosie was asleep.

His stomach began to bubble as her lips met his cheek. Cameron didn't quite understand it, but he didn't care. His mind drifted off to his little girl as he followed after Elaine. He wondered if Adrienne would like her.. or if Elaine would still be around once he found his baby girl. He pushed the thoughts aside, and caught up to Elaine.

She walked slowly out to the back patio, but her mom wasn't there. She started towards the library, running her hand slowly over her stomach. She smiled at her mom, sitting down on the sofa. "Cameron had a question for you." She said, crossing her legs.
"What's your question?" Her mother asked with a smile, looking up at him.

He rubbed at his face as he followed Elaine to the library. His eyes wondered from her to her mother. "May I stay?" His thumbs hooked in his pockets, "At least for a bit longer?" He added, stealing a glance over at Elaine. Cameron chewed on his lip, waiting for an answer.

"You can stay the night, if you'd like. But you have to sleep in the guest room." Her mother said, smiling over at him. Lainee looked over at him, a smile crossing her lips. She stood up, starting towards the door. "I'll show you where you're sleeping tonight."

"Thank you, ma'am." He spoke. Cameron gave a smile before following after Elaine. He took her hand in his, yawning quietly as he intertwined their fingers. When they came to the room, he walked to the bed. His eyes traced over Elaine, his head tilting slightly. "Your house is cozy. The only thing I have in mine is a sofa and a bed." There were a few other things, but not much.

She squeezed his hand gently, showing him to his room. She stood in the doorway as he walked to the bed, quite a few thoughts running through her mind. She smiled over at him, reaching up to run her hand through her hair. "Thank you. We usually have quite a few people here. Mostly-" She looked up as the doorbell rang, and smiled over at him before she started down the stairs to answer the door. She talked to the neighbor awhile, letting them explain they needed someone to keep their baby for a couple nights because they had an emergency in New York they had to attend to. She took the baby and it's bags, and started upstairs to her room, leaving the bags there before she walked back to Cameron's room with the baby in her arms, rocking the small infant slowly.

Cameron flopped back on to the bed as she disappeared. His hand dug into his pocket, pulling at his wallet to take the last look of the night. His thumb ran over the picture, a small smile pulled at his lips. He sighed and sat the wallet on the night stand. He could hear the footsteps of Elaine drawing near, and he sat up. "Who's baby?" He asked, slipping from the bed to walk over to her. A smirk washed over his face as he looked down at the little infant.

"The neighbor's. They said they had an emergency." She said, gently running her fingers through the baby's hair. It was a small little thing, obviously not very old. She wished she could have a baby one day, a real family of her own. But she knew better than to get her hopes up, too. "Isn't he tiny? I get a handsome boy to sleep with tonight after all." She teased, walking over to sit on the bed so she could lean back and hold the baby close.
