Cameron stretched his arms out before he slinked back to the bed to sit down. His hand reached out, brushing the baby's hair back. A soft smile played across his lips, and he wondered if Adrienne had been this small or smaller. "He's the tiniest baby I've seen." He resonded quietly as he scooted back to lean against the headboard. He wrapped an arm around Elaine pulling her close.

"He is. He must not weigh much over six pounds. But he's so adorable." She said quietly, laying her head gently on his shoulder. She laid the baby on his lap, smiling as it looked up at them with tiny eyes, it's hand pressed to it's mouth. She gently ran her hand over it's stomach, watching it intently. "I wonder how far he can see.. He's so little, it can't be hard."

"We're just giant blurs." Cameron chuckled as he he stroked the baby's cheek with his free hand. He sighed softly before kissing Elaine's cheek. Cameron had only seen small babies, never held one. He didn't want to hurt the little boy. "They start off so small and then they just grow and grow.." It made him wonder about Adrienne, and how big she was now.

"But they're so adorable. Even when they're little and wrinkly." She said, looking up at him. She looked back down at the baby, who sniffled, then started to cry. "Oh, little baby.. Don't cry!" She breathed, gently laying the baby next to Cameron. If the baby was little, his cry was even smaller, barely audible. "I'll go fix him a bottle." She said quietly, walking to her room to grab his bags.

Cameron smiled, watching her as she went. His eyes turned toward the little boy and a soft sigh escaped as he picked the infant up into his arms. He slipped from the bed and began to rock his arms back and forth. He hummed quietly to the tune his mother use to sing as he paced back and forth around the bed, waiting for Elaine to return.

She walked back up with a bottle in her hand. She smiled as she saw Cameron walking the small infant back and forth, the baby seeming content aside from the few random cries from him. "You want to feed him or you want me to feed him?" She asked, looking over at him with a faint smile.

He stopped as he spotted her out of the corner of his eye. "I.. uh.. You can," He studdered and held the baby out for her to take. Cameron gave a sheepish smile as he sat on the end of the bed. There was no doubt that Cameron would have made a good father, but he hesitated so much with little kids when others were around. "I was just trying to calm him down.. His face was starting to get red." He ran his hand through his hair and offered another small grin. "He's the first baby I've met that doesn't have a set of lungs."

She took the baby gently, giving him the bottle. She walked slowly back and forth, looking down at him. "They do that sometimes." She said with a smile, looking over at Cameron. "He'll get them. Or he might be a quiet baby." She kissed his head, hugging the little baby close as she fed him. It wasn't long before he was pushing the bottle away and she brought him up to her shoulder, patting his back gently until he burped. Then she started to feed him the rest of his bottle.

He scooted back in the bed and began to mess with the pillows. He fluffed them around before settling back and watching Elaine as she fed the infant. "His parents must be pleased. My mom told me she stuffed cotton balls into her ears because of how loud I was." He shrugged and chuckled a bit. "But she knew when I was getting into something, it was the only time I was quiet." Cameron wiggled into the pillows and patted the open space beside him.

"My parents didn't get me until I was a little older, so they don't have any stories about me being loud. But you seem like the type to be loud." She said with a chuckle, smiling over at him. She laughed at his next comment, climbing into bed with him. He baby finished what was left in his bottle, then she brought him to her shoulder again to burp him. When he was done, she let him lay there, gently rubbing his back. "I love tiny babies."

He gave a playful roll of his eyes at her comment, a faint chuckle followed. His arm stretched around her waist as she settled into the bed and his head moved closer to the little baby as Elaine let him rest on her shoulder. "He won't be tiny forever," Cameron responded, sticking his tongue out at the infant before he leaned back against the pillows once more.

"That's why we have to cuddle them while they're little. They grow up too fast." She said quietly, rubbing his back slowly. She looked over at Cameron, a smile tugging on her lips. She laid him down on Cameron's chest, slipping down to lay beside him. She laid her head on his shoulder, running her hand slowly down the baby's back.

He just nodded and moved a hand to keep the baby from sliding down his chest. A soft yawn escaped Cameron's lips as his head leaned over to press gently against Elaine's. "Could you imagine a carrot-top baby of your own?" He laughed quietly at the thought of bright red hair on a little tiny baby.

She laughed, shaking her head. "I doubt it would have hair like me." She said quietly. It was more likely her baby would have the hair of it's father than her. Mostly because she didn't see many people with hair like her. She watched the little baby put his hand to his mouth again, sucking noisily on it. "He doesn't cry. He just makes noise, apparently."

"Well, no matter the hair color, I'm sure the baby would be the cutest thing." He smiled as his gaze turned to the infant resting on his chest. He laughed quietly as his thumb brushed lightly over the baby's foot. "He looks satisfied," Cameron mumbled quietly. His eyes quickly glanced toward Elaine, and a soft smile pulled at his lips. He knew as soon as she left, he would fall asleep. But he wasn't quite ready for her to leave, even if he was running out of things to say.
